Lifestyle Newborn Session | Northeast Iowa - So Precious!

Over the winter when my gorgeous friend Ashley, marketing expert and owner of Ashley D Marketing, reached out to me about documenting her newborn in the spring I secretly squealed with joy! I knew her little man would be absolutely adorable! I also knew that being super organized and a planner by nature, Ashley would have everything perfect for the session - and I was totally right! From outfits, to the nursery, lighting, and the perfect little bright eyed baby boy…. this session was a dream!

When she first approached me about photographing her baby when he arrived, I said yes and explained how my newborn sessions are much like my other photo sessions, very natural. I was ecstatic that we had the same vision for the session - relaxed, in home, and candid.

I love photographing life as it is in the moment… sweet snuggles, baby smiles, tears, tiny toes. It’s all precious. Although there are some things you can plan, with newborns I always take a little longer, because I’m happy to slow down and go with the flow. Baby’s in charge! This new mom and dad did an amazing job of going with the flow and I just love how their sweet images turned out!

While I’m sure Ashley is still taking some time off to enjoy baby boy, I highly recommend her for her your marketing needs - she’s brilliant, talented, organized, and has such great style! This trio is a blessing to our little community and I can’t wait to spend more time with this precious family and watch little man grow through the years!
