Sadie's Northeast Iowa Senior Session
/YAY!
This week I had the privilege of taking Sadie’s senior photos! She’s absolutely gorgeous and her beauty truly shines from the inside out. I can honestly say, we both (and mom, too) had a blast! While I was editing through her photos I caught myself smiling at all of her beautiful images and her adorable laugh… we laughed SO much!
We’ve been blessed to watch Sadie grow up through the years and to have had her and her sister as Emmajean’s very first babysitters. I’ve always secretly hoped she’d ask me to take her senior photos but never wanted her to feel pressured, so I never mentioned it. You can imagine my elation when she messaged and asked me… Excited was an understatement!
Sadie picked the full length session so she’d have plenty of time for several outfits and so we could venture around locations. We decided to stay in our neck of the woods, chasing the light, dancing around in wildflower fields, exploring the gravel roads and old bridges, and enjoying each others company. She had admitted to being a little nervous, but I assured it’s only awkward for the first few minutes and that I’d have her back for posing and that it would be fun. And it was just that….. SO MUCH FUN. Looking back, I think she was being humble, because this girl is a natural MODEL! :)
With this year being so different, with the academic/social challenges and obstacles these seniors may face, it gives me joy to still be able to provide my fun and exciting senior portrait experience for this class. It’s also comforting to see these resilient, bright, caring youth, with their fresh energy and positive outlooks, making smart choices, working hard, and ready to do big things in the world. Stay focused, keep your joyful spirit, and shine on!
There were so many great images, it was hard to choose which ones to share!
Sadie you are absolutely radiant!
Sadie, thank you for being an absolute dream to photograph, but more importantly, for being an amazing person! I hope you love your images as much as we do!
XOXO
