Four years ago, these lovely souls met and fell fast in love. I remember meeting them when their romance was new and the sparkle in both of their eyes has only grown brighter over time.

On August 1 , 2020, Charlotte and David tied the knot in front of their closest family on the land she grew up on.

EVERY SINGLE DETAIL was perfection. The scenery of her childhood home is the stuff dreams are made of.

From heirloom rings, to dining on her grandmother’s wedding china, to the custom-made gown… each part of the day was a sentimental masterpiece. The bride’s siblings helped decorate and prepare for the wedding, and both families took part in the ceremony, with the bride’s father officiating. The mother of the bride baked the most amazing wedding cake, layered with fresh fruit and creamy rich frosting. From Charlotte’s cherished willow tree, to the twenty foot floral centerpiece, to the delicate summer supper, to the flowing fabric, twinkly lights, and lanterns…. the stage was set for the most lovely intimate wedding celebration in northeast Iowa.
