Last week we celebrated Mother’s Day and a very special birthday! Our little, fierce, fearless beauty turned 4! And, she did it with grace, joy and help from friends and family near and far!

I dusted off the trusty camera and took a few photos while we celebrated. :) Can we just take a minute to be thankful. Thankful for technology, for the resilience of our little humans, for bright spots and joy during this crazy, beautiful, uncertain thing called LIFE.

I am so thankful we were able to celebrate with pink cupcakes, balloons, gifts, and clean laundry (whooops didn’t get it all put away before birthday morning photos). I am so thankful for Duo/Facetime. I’ve been grateful to see and share words of love and birthday wishes with E from her friends and family through comments, texts, cards, and calls. We even had a couple of porch drop offs, which brought smiles to all of us. A HUGE thanks to each of you who helped make her day so special!!

Even though it wasn’t the big birthday party she’d been dreaming up everyday for the past six months, I am so GRATEFUL for the joy, peace, and celebration we shared!

No matter the circumstances, I hope you’re able to celebrate and find joy…. always.
